AJHS, AHS students visit mental health conference.

Andalusia Junior High and Andalusia High School students attended a youth mental health conference on Wednesday, September 21.
The conference, known as REFOCUS, was held this year at Shockoe Springs in Talladega, Alabama.
FOCUS is based on project-based learning in developing 21st century skills. Students work together to help reduce adolescent risk behaviors by developing leadership skills, peer support, planning educational and awareness events, participating in community service projects, and using focus groups.
The students listened to inspirational speakers and had special conversations with students their age.
AJHS students were Naimah Bradley, Emma Beth Ennis, Alyssa Garland, Layla Gunter, Londine Jackson, Evely Mack, Kimora Pruitt, Ocean Reeves, Macy Tucker, Brilyn Turner, Thomas Turner and Reese Wells.
AHS students were Brimaine Beatty, Saranelle Brundage, Zoe Bush, Tristan Chambers, Helena Cotton, Keira Dorsey, Karis Dubose, Courtlynn Knight, McKinley Marlow, Naudia Maye, Arianna Pryor, Maggie Rayborn, Andy Shelander, Lexi Stallworth, Carolyn Turner. , Jimmy White, Cara Wise, Shambresha Woods, Brianna Yelder and Shelby Ziglar.
