It’s time for a spring wardrobe refresh.

Thanks to a roster of celebrities like Christina Aguilera, Michelle Obama and Dua Lipa, cargo pants are officially back. Paula utility pant is a great example of new, chic iterations that I once associated with hundreds of pockets and men on fishing boats; These make me think of Meryl Streep. Out of Africa. In this version, the folded waist gives a loose picture with some large pockets and optional cuffs.

There’s a reason slip dresses are everywhere – they’re easy to throw on and instantly elevate any outfit. I thought corset tops would be a passing fad, but it’s been at least two years since they came back and they’re still trendy. I haven’t tried the style on myself because I can’t find chords that don’t look like I’m wearing a dress, but Banana Republic’s Laurel Corset Top is a tide changer. The style’s signature ribbing, high-cut waist, and no extra detailing make it feel close but not too dressy.
