It didn’t take long for the Hokies to make a statement in the NFL preseason showdown with the Carolina Panthers. I love Barno. and the Buffalo Bills Rahim Blackshear Turning in a tough outing in their NFL debut on Saturday.

Barno, who is playing defensive back for Carolina, was forced into two turnovers by the Panthers.

The first came with a poor recovery. Midway through the first quarter, he took a catch and blocked the edge before scooping up a loose ball. His second came on pressure from Washington Chiefs quarterback Taylor Heinecke, who threw an interception by Carolina’s Duke Dawson in the end. Barnum finished with three tackles.

Blackshear, on the other hand, had two touchdowns on the ground against the Indianapolis Colts. He finished with 11 rushing yards on six attempts as he had a nose for the end zone.

Both teams won their respective games, with the Panthers beating the Chiefs 23-21 and the Colts 27-24 over the Bills.
