On Sunday evening, the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italia (CNMI) in collaboration with the UN Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI), with the support of the ICA Agency Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Municipality of Milan gathered to host the event. CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2022 at Milan’s famous Teatro all Scala.
Bicester Collection participated in the awards through its renewed partnership with the CNMI, supporting sustainable fashion talent. Awarding the Bicester Collection Prize for Emerging Designers, reinforces the collection’s already cemented footprint by one depth, showcasing up-and-coming talent and two, talent at the forefront of sustainability. The winner will receive mentoring and a physical workspace at Creative Spot, along with key resources to grow their business while being able to participate in the Bicester Collective’s global platform.
The evening was graced by Spanish actress and model Rossi De Palma, who wore a Valentino gown from their Resort 2023 collection. 14 awards and 2 special awards were awarded. The winners received 20-year-old Venere Delli Strachey.Th 3D printed and customized masterpiece of the century by Maestro Pistoletto. Armani, Gucci, Prada and Valentino all participated, presenting 5 looks each in a short runway show. Giorgio Armani, Alessandro Michele from Gucci, Miuccia Prada, and Pierpaolo Piccioli from Valentino all participated in looks from their homes.
