Boston’s true newcomers to summer – 50 are not old

I’ve been waiting for the warm summer weather to finally hit, and here it is!!! I love sitting on the sun porch, going to the pool and going to the lake. Shopping is always on my agenda, and for summer Boston’s authentic newcomers, today’s decorating routines are perfect for all my fun activities.

This beautiful dress is perfect for summer. Denim dresses are having a moment, and this one is so perfect. First off, it’s a skort, and you know I love skorts. I love the length of this skort, and because it’s a pull-on style, it’s also comfortable. A size 10 fits me perfectly. I have been making this bulson top with almost every outfit. The blouson type top is one of my favorites because it hides the top of the muffin. I also ordered the black version, and since I’ve put on a few pounds I’ll be wearing the top a lot this winter. 🙄

A scarf adds a lot to an outfit. This is a fun and bright print, and I think it adds a lot of visual interest to this basic outfit.

I owned a pair of yellow espadrilles and wore them all the time. They looked pretty worn out, so I wanted a new pair. These wedge shoes are almost identical, and they are comfortable. There will be a lot on the blog this summer; You’d be surprised how often you can wear yellow shoes.

Isn’t this a cute outfit for lunch? I was impressed with the authentic Boston newcomers I ordered. The quality and fabrics are excellent, and the styles are beautiful. Not a Boston Proper retailer I’ve always loved their style. Some of the looks are my style, but the items I get from them are always amazing. I will keep them on my radar and try to order more from them in the future.

I love this skort!!! The material is very good, but I love the beautiful print. I matched it with a black top, but it looks just as good with ivory. The denim jacket in the next look looks amazing with this outfit, so be sure to check it out.

Here’s another gorgeous look from Boston’s definitive newcomers for summer. This is a great everyday dress, and at the same time it manages to look simple and dressy.

I love meeting women in unexpected places. This denim jacket has slightly pierced sleeves which gives it a feminine look. I’ve made a puff sleeve jacket before, but this one is at a much better price point. I am wearing a medium that fits me best.

These shorts are perfect for traveling as they are comfortable and wrinkle free. Shorts also look like a dress, so you can wear them for certain events, but they look good with a denim jacket. I’m wearing a medium, but I’m going to try on a small because they look a little baggy on me.
