Brad Pitt is taking advantage of his current press tour to shake things up, sartorially speaking. While on the red carpet for this upcoming film Bullet TrainPitt has sported everything from slouchy drawstring suits and even a skirt, opting for a myriad of looks from slow-fashion designer Haans Nicholas Mott.
For the LA premiere of the film Monday night, Pitt wore an electric lime green suit with a teal undershirt bearing Mott’s signature collar stitching, while his pants featured a coordinating teal drawstring. The star slipped into a pair of bright yellow Adidas x Gucci Gazelle sneakers, jumping around the red carpet affair.
When asked by Variety about his new style on the carpet, Pitt replied “I don’t know! We’re all going to die, so let’s mess it up.”
For the red carpet screening in Germany, Pitt rocked a chocolate brown blazer, a rose-colored button-down and in a surprising twist, a coordinating brown knee-length skirt by the New York-based designer. He topped off the look with combat boots, layered gold medallions, and tortoise shell sunglasses.
The Academy Award-winning actor posed alongside his Bullet Train castmates Joey King, Zazie Beetz, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Logan Lerman, and more. The film follows five different assassins aboard a fast moving “bullet train,” traveling from Toyko to Morioka. The hired guns eventually uncover a strange truth about their missions – while they may not be as intertwined as they originally thought, their assignments have something in common. Directed by David Leitch, Bullet Train hits theaters on August 5.
