Cardi B’s cape stole the spotlight at the Schiaparelli fashion show

Cardi B stunned in a black strapless dress and oversized coat at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday.

The collection, by the Italian fashion house, featured a form-fitting strapless black dress with gold embellishments at the top and a gold accent at the center. Her dramatic gown had a wide collar and extended past her waist.

According to Schiaparelli’s Instagram, the Grammy-winning collection was designed by Daniel Roseberry, the brand’s creative director, who was one of the creators of Doja Cat’s head-to-toe red crystal look during Paris Fashion Week in January.

The gold detailing continued on the back of the dress with a cardy back-length shimmering gold stripe along the corset seam. She paired her dress with high gold heels.

As for accessories, the rapper continued with the gold theme and wore layered bangles and earrings that resembled actual ears. The earrings were studded with diamonds and pearls. Her head is covered in a low bun at the back.

Cardi sat opposite Tracee Ellis Ross at the Schiaparelli Fall/Winter 2023 couture collection show.

Ross got emotional when one of her mother’s songs was played during the show, and Perfect magazine captured the two’s adorable interaction on TikTok.

In addition to Cardi and Ross, “Game of Thrones” and “Wednesday” actresses Gwendoline Christie and “Emily in Paris” star of the Philippines Leeroy-Beaulieu were in attendance.
