College football’s top games: Utah-UCLA, Texas Tech-Oklahoma State, more

6th week College football Season is in full swing, and we’ve got you covered from start to finish.

Currently, No. 11 Utah faces No. 18 UCLA on FOX, while No. 7 Oklahoma State battles Texas Tech on FS1.

Opening the day, No. 4 Michigan over Indiana, No. 17 TCU on the road with a thriller over No. 19 Kansas and No. 8 Tennessee over No. 25 LSU. Elsewhere, one of college football’s greatest rivalries — the Red River Showdown — turned ugly when Texas went on the road and dominated Oklahoma.

Here are the top plays from Saturday’s Week 6 slate.

No. 11 Utah vs. No. 18 UCLA

Michigan looked poised to take a 13-10 lead, but a Wolverines chip-shot. The field goal was denied. To keep the score equal. Michigan then returned the favor to put the game away before halftime.

Evers threw for three touchdowns in the first half to give Texas a 28-0 lead. It was more of the same in the second half. The show was anything but that on Saturday as the Longhorns pulled out the easy shutout.

The turnover and TD

LSU fumbled the opening kickoff and Tennessee took advantage, as Jabari Small punched in a 1-yard score to go up 7-0.

Venting!

Tennessee extended its lead to 20-0 when Hendon Hooker threw a 45-yard dime to Jalin Hyatt.

LSU finally got on the board Just before halftime, cutting Tennessee’s lead to 13, but it didn’t take long for the Vols to come back. Hooker and Hyatt connected to open the second half as Tennessee extended its lead to 30-7 and cruised to an easy win on the road.
