North Texas attracts new and bigger businesses. Now, Comerica Bank has announced that construction on its new office tower at The Star in Frisco will begin later this year and open between late 2023 and early 2024.
The Business and Innovation Building will be connected to Comerica’s headquarters in Dallas and will house executive offices, commercial banking, wealth management and other business units.
“This represents a significant investment in Comerica’s strategic vision,” said Megan Crespi, executive vice president and chief technology officer and chief operating officer of Comerica, in a statement. “Expanding the footprint of our corporate headquarters into the most sought-after locations for business and innovation in the U.S. positions our bank for future success.”
As previously covered Environmental profile, North Texas is becoming an attractive destination for businesses from all over the world, especially the technology industry. After other tech companies have been calling dibs on locations in the city, it’s no wonder why Comerica is looking to plant a new space in Frisco to test new concepts and tech genius Bar.
“Frisco is known for developing a unique environment for businesses to thrive,” said Brian Foley, Comerica’s Texas Market President. “The center’s on-site services and prominent location will help support our company’s vision for future growth, increasing our ability to attract and retain top talent.”
Comerica also comes with local job opportunities. The new building will house approximately 300 employees from various teams, including technology and product management, into front-line business units, and will include a new office for human resources, learning and interviewing centers.
The company hopes The Star Mixed Services Campus will provide its colleagues with entertainment, sports, retail, residential and educational opportunities that will enhance the employee experience and help attract new talent in the process.
