This historic legislation will help save maternal lives and address the drivers of maternal mortality, morbidity, and health disparities in the United States.

- Increase funding for programs to improve maternal health care for veterans.
- Growing and multiplying the birth workforce to ensure every mother in America has access to maternal health care and support from people they trust.
- Maternal mental health status and supporting mothers with substance use disorders.
- Investing in federal programs to address maternal and child health risks during public health emergencies.
- Investing in community-based initiatives to reduce levels and exposure to climate change-related risks for mothers and children.
- Promoting maternal vaccinations to protect the health of mothers and children.
