‘Cyberpunk 2077’ is holding a ‘V’ fashion contest with prizes.

Cyberpunk 2077 has enjoyed a high number of players since the release of Edgerunners in the last few weeks, and if you’re back into it, you might want to enter a new tournament now being thrown by CDPR. It’s basically a cyberpunk fashion contest for all the VAs out there as part of CDPR’s ongoing themed photo mode contest that they’ve been doing for a while. But this is the first one where “Wardrobe” is a special theme. So, fashion competition.

Cyberpunk 2077’s true endgame has always been fashionable. Ok, I wanted to create a super OP kill build but also… fashion. The combination of the game’s clothing, how cool VS looks, and the people and places of Night City have always made fashion photoshoots a pastime once I beat the game and had nothing to do. I love the fashion aspect of the game so much that I made a complete guide about all the shops and how to get the best look.

Of course, fashion also has a new meaning because as of the latest patch, there is now a transmog/outfit system where you can craft up to six customizable skins that allow you to use the best gear as you wish. In the past, you were forced to throw out random garbage to get stronger, but now, for the first time in almost two years, that’s not the case.

This was not the only change as the last patch allows you to do the same at last Preview clothing items in the in-game stores, really the most basic function on earth, but it’s something the game has done without this whole time. By combining this with transmog you can buy clothes and then sell them back and still keep the look in your transmog options.

For this special photo contest, there are a few main rules:

• You can’t use mods (there are too many fashion mods)
• You must use the in-game photo mode and cannot edit the screenshot with external software.
• You can only enter once, so make it count.

It was really hard for me to choose just one photo to send. I posted it here so don’t steal my look! But there are loads I’ve made over the last couple of years and you can make and save transmog costumes specifically based on the last patch. And don’t forget you can change your V face and hair on Ripperdocs with Mirror and now to complete your look.
