Dalika, a 6-year-old German thoroughbred, was drawn to run by the Storm Race mare at Pasteurius. Beverly D’s win was her eighth in 28 career careers and her first in Grade 1. She has long demonstrated her affinity for running on grass at Churchill Downs: she has three wins and three seconds in seven career starts at the track.
