Monday 10 October is World Mental Health Day. According to the World Health Organization, the purpose of this day is to create awareness on mental health issues. It’s important to support people struggling with mental illness so they don’t feel like they’re suffering alone.

Connecticut colleges and universities must recognize Oct. 10 as a holiday and not hold classes on that day.
