The stereo speakers on the side of the screen, and while they don’t sound as rich as the iPhone 13 Pro’s drivers, are still quite good and powerful. As with most modern high-end phones, there is no headphone jack, microSD card slot or charging adapter in the boxbut has wireless charging, fast cable charging, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E and water resistance. All the features of the tent are here.
I am happy to say that the daily performance of the Tensor chip is excellent. I still haven’t seen a delay or delay in starting and switching between apps, and if that helps with reference, benchmarking tests put it just a little behind. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
I only encountered some resistance to the most demanding graphics game I could think of, Genshin Impact. I had to lower the graphics settings to low so I could play it at about 60 frames per second (average at 30 frames per second). IN iPhone 13 Pro Max had problems with the same title and also needed a little tweaking of settings, but Apple’s top-end phone is certainly more powerful than the Pixel and the game wasn’t such as torn. Most of the games I’ve tried I like Pokémon Unite,, Hyperburner, and Dead Trigger 2, everything works flawlessly on Pixels.
I have only a few remarks. The most important thing is the fingerprint sensor: The physical, capacitive sensor on the back of the phone has disappeared and now the biometric authentication is processed by a fingerprint sensor built into the screen. Not very well. Sometimes it unlocks on the first try, but most of the time you have to touch your finger twice. I’ve also very rarely noticed any fragmentation specifically on Twitter, but that’s not always the case. The phone usually scrolls very smoothly.
Then there is the OLED screen. It is read outdoors, but it is not possible such as bright as competing flagships, so you may find yourself squinting on sunny days. Also, the Pixel 6 is 6.4 inches and the Pixel 6 Pro is 6.7 inches, but they feel very similar because the latter has thinner bezels and curved glass edges, which maximizes the real estate on display. All this is good if you are a fan of big screen phones, but it would be nice to have a noticeably smaller Pixel.
Google phones have always taken great pictures. But the hardware hasn’t changed much over the years, and this has allowed competitors to stay ahead of Pixel in terms of photo quality. Things will be different now that the Pixel camera has finally received a major overhaul. Both new models have a 50-megapixel main camera with a large sensor, which is joined by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide. The Pro adds its own telephoto with 4X optical zoom for a versatile three-camera array and optical image stabilization on all its lenses.
I took more than 300 photos in the last two weeks in an attempt to compare photos of these two pixels with their predecessor and competitors such as the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Galaxy S21 Ultra. It’s hard to say that the pixels are on the best camera phones around, just because they compete with the iPhone 13 Pro for that first place. There are times when the iPhone pulls forward and times when the Pixel comes out on top.
