The third day of the ACC Indoor Championships featured one of the most dramatic finishes in conference history as the Virginia Tech women’s 4x400m relay secured a result. Sophomore Duke looked to run away with the crown as they led the tournament, but a last-minute stick drop gave the Hokies a victory over the Blue Devils.

High Chauncey Chambers He jumped 51′ 9.75″ (15.79m) on his first attempt of the day, finishing fourth on second team All-ACC honors.
Sprinter Cole Beck He earned two first-team All-ACC honors, placing third in the 60m (6.60) and 200m (20.62). Kennedy Harrison Men’s 400m He took bronze with a time of 46.48, while Lincoln finished fourth in 46.75.
In the men’s mile, Victor Idhamar And Declan Rymer He added four points to the men’s score, finishing sixth and eighth respectively. Edhamar crossed the finish line first for the Hokies with a time of 4:01:95, followed by Rymer with a time of 4:02.58. High Antonio Lopez Segura He finished third in the men’s 3000m in 7:51:52, a season best.
The top three finishers in each individual event at the championships earn first-team All-ACC honors, while fourth through sixth are second-team All-ACC. First-team All-ACC honors are awarded to members of each winning team, while members of each second- and third-place team receive second-team recognition.
Virginia Tech turns its attention to the final selection for the 2023 NCAA Indoor Championship on Feb. 28. The indoor championships will be held March 10-11 at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
