A lot is happening in the world of the wedding industry. Can you shed some light on how one can use technology to make a wedding day even more special?

There is a lot available in terms of new technologies that can be a part of weddings to enhance the experience of their customers and guests. Technology can include all information such as date, location, weather, destination information and more on wedding websites or wedding receptions at the beginning of the wedding planning itself. There are many such resources available online where one can build their own wedding app and website in a few simple steps.

At the next level, technology can be used to better manage guest availability confirmations with an RSVP management system that can accurately record the response received from each guest. This information can be tracked and accessed at the click of a button.

On the day of the event, technology is used to design special effects, visuals, sound enhancements, mood settings and lighting and come together to create the most magical-looking decor, including a multi-sensory experience for guests.

Nowadays, photo-video teams are investing heavily in cutting edge technology so that they can provide the best service to their clients while capturing special moments. More recently, virtual reality has entered the wedding scene where weddings are shot in 360° in real-time and can be re-visited via video to allow family and friends to live as guests at their own wedding.

Finally, I see technology playing a big role in making the wedding live across borders in various ways.

In the age of social media, technology is used to quickly share images and videos with friends and family using multiple social networking channels.
