In a DTLA store, robbers attacked the business owner and his friend

Two robbers attacked a store owner and his friend at a clothing store in downtown Los Angeles, and it was all caught on security cameras.

The owner suffered injuries as a result of the attack, a broken eye socket and shoulder bone. Money and jewelry were taken from the business by the robbers, who are still in custody.

Security cameras reportedly recorded two hooded and masked men entering the store before attacking the store owner and his friend.

The 39-year-old owner, Frankie Salerno, and his friend were kicked, punched and pistol-whipped. His friend was badly beaten but is expected to make a full recovery.

“I personally couldn’t see it at the moment,” said the victim’s girlfriend, Ivana.

She added that the business was robbed in the evening and the two men were waiting to report the police when the robbers entered and attacked.

The suspects are still in custody, and there is no description of them. It appears that the car involved in the incident did not have a license plate.
