UPMC St. Margaret
Employees at UPMC St. Margaret’s gave a record-breaking $155,000 during the annual St. Margaret’s Foundation Employee Campaign in July to fill the gap for needy patients and staff at the hospital.
“When we started the campaign, we didn’t know what to expect,” said foundation president Mary Lee Gannon. “And in true form, no matter what they do, St. Margaret’s staff come to our patients and staff in need.”
This is the largest amount ever collected from staff at UPMC St. Margaret.
More than 500 employees donated.
Shady Side Academy
Shady Side Academy is hosting a job fair for people interested in becoming substitute teachers in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth.
The event will be held on Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. on the high school campus, 423 Fox Chapel Road.
According to the school, there are immediate openings for substitute teachers and after-school group leaders.
Registration is limited to 30 people. Those interested can RSVP to Armani Davis at adavis@shadysideacademy.org.
Women’s business network
The Women’s Business Network is an award-winning business association with over 20 chapters throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Members can take advantage of networking with other area businesswomen, continuing professional education and leadership opportunities.
