London-based designer retailer htown has announced it is set to take over the retail space in One Hundred Shoreditch.
Formerly the iconic Ace Hotel, the venue, which housed JW Anderson’s first store alongside the opening ceremony and added excitement of Christopher Kane, has since become something of a UK fashion institution. Now, the space will be home to htown’s extensive collection of established brands, including Ahluwalia, Aries, Hatton Labs, Martin Rose, AGR and more.
What’s more, the partnership will see One Hundred Shoreditch and htown team up to develop a series of community and charity-based projects, and organize regular workshops and events for young people to enter the industry. The reimagined space will also continue to support charities such as Refuge and Spitalfields Crypt Trust, with htown pledging to make a monthly donation to both charities during its residency.
