Try as I might to ignore it, unfortunately, it’s time to accept that the bleached brochure is a permanent trend for 2022. how do i know A month after Kim Kardashian flaunted her incredibly soft bleached brows on the cover Interview Magazine, her younger sister Kylie Jenner has jumped on the bleach-brow bandwagon. And given that Kendall Jenner previously wore bleached brown to the Met Gala, it’s only a matter of time before all the other Kardashians follow suit. And once the Kardashians do this, well, it’s game over for the rest of us bleached-brow girls.
Kylie showed off her glow while attending Coperni’s Spring 2023 show during Paris Fashion Week. In contrast to Kim, Kylie decided to keep her hair dark, creating a striking – slightly disturbing – contrast. Upon closer inspection, it looks like she didn’t actually brush her brows, but rather painted a light wash of color over them. I’m not really sure which is worse.
To be fair to Kylie, she does. nice. The lack of strong visible brows accentuates her facial structure nicely, and at least it doesn’t detract from Kim’s soft brow shape. But there’s something unnatural about bleached brows that I can’t get behind. It’s like thin eyebrows – all I think when I see them is “where did their real eyebrows go?” That’s what it says.
Kylie later posted more photos of her skin-melting and light brows, which appeared in a series of Instagram pictures of the reality star laying bare in a black bra, matching panties and thigh-high leather boots. “Repeat sleep,” she wrote. I hope she doesn’t plan on waxing her brows too often, because that seems like a one-way ticket to skin irritation and eye damage.
