Lieberman trap gear has been widely reported as a threat to right whales, an endangered species. Let’s take a deep breath and realize that, researchers Hannah Ritchie and Max Roeser of Our World in Data: “Extinction is a natural part of our planet’s evolutionary history. More than 99 percent of the 4 billion species that originated on Earth are now extinct. At least 900 species have disappeared in the last five hundred years. Loss is a part of life.

Maybe it’s time to let the right whale join the 99 percent, and let our lobstermen go to work, feed their families and our families, and feed all the people whose jobs and livelihoods are involved, and let lobsters succeed. Industry.

The “Save the Whales” (and as long as they’re there, every species in existence) mission is to ensure that no species goes extinct on their watch. Since they are the pinnacle of evolution, their egos demand that they control everything that happens on their planet – including the weather. But that’s another subject entirely, which is that nature will have its own way – as it has for 4 billion years.
