GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX CAROLINA) – After Clemson’s 48-20 win over Louisiana Tech, Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney praised the Bulldogs’ program’s response to the loss of Ella Bresse.

Ella was the 15-year-old sister of Clemson sophomore Brian Bresse. She lost her battle with brain cancer earlier this week and in response, the Bulldogs brought home handwritten letters from every member of the Louisiana Tech football team.

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said after the game, “We’re in this competitive world with guys like Sonny Cumbies and the LA Tech crowd. Class team.”

Swinney said Coombe became a lifelong fan after the LA Tech head coach came out pregame in an Ella Strong shirt and gave Swinney a letter to Bryant.

Clemson shared a photo of the stacked letters after the game.

Clemson beat Louisiana Tech Saturday night in Death Valley.
