Martha Stewart was the model of the hour – albeit unscheduled – at the Dennis Basso show at the Pier Hotel on Monday.
The domestic doyenne sat front row at the glamorous show, and the designer gave him a hug as he took his lap down the runway for the finale.
But Basso took her hand and walked down the catwalk arm and arm with him.
“He’s an old friend and I wish your old friends the best of luck,” he told Page 6, wearing a white lace design by Basso. She adds that her favorite thing about his fashion is “the beauty, the beauty.”
Artist Ashley Longshore sat a few seats from Stewart and asked about the lifestyle, “Martha, will you bake my muffins?” She was heard saying.

Also at the show was Kris Jenner, who sat next to Tommy Hilfiger’s designer wife D’Oclepo Hilfiger, Rosanna Scott, Starr Jones, Carmen Del Orifice, Carol Alt, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon and “Sex and the City” author Candace Bushnell.
Bushnell was in town for Fashion Week and attended a show of his signature Manolo Blahnik shoes.
“I’ve been here,” she said. “I walked 14 blocks. They are not that high. You have to walk in heels during fashion week.

Basso, known for its luxurious evening wear, was celebrating 40 years in the business.
“In the year “From my first show at the Regency in 1983 to this collection, it’s been an amazing journey,” he told us. “I’ve dressed so many amazing, beautiful, smart, interesting women. Some famous, not so famous, attractive. i like this. “I feel like I’m just getting started.”
