Plates – Georgia Tech men’s tennis player Marcus McDaniel In the second round of singles qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships, Portland’s Seema Pankin fell in two straight sets. Tech continues Wednesday with main draw singles and doubles competition.
McDaniel won the first round of the qualifier on Monday. Despite falling 3-6 in the first set, he bounced back to beat Rice University’s Haoyuan Huan in the final two, 6-4, 6-2.
Andres Martin At 10:30 a.m., CT will begin the main event with a singles match against Arizona State University’s Murphy Cason. McDaniel will then be paired with Jonas Eriksson Sieverts and Herman Hoeral from the University of Arizona in a doubleheader at 3:30 pm CT.
