The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation presents the “Women of the Metro Capsule Collection Fashion Show”.
The event will be held on Wednesday, June 7 at Ale Lounge 66 at Resort World from 5:30pm to 7pm.
According to the LVMPD Foundation, the new sportswear line will be unveiled at the fashion show.
Show officials said the female law enforcement officers graced the runway in style, showing off the new outfit, a quarter-zip, leggings, T-shirt and tank top emblazoned with the Metro Women’s logo — a modern take on “Rosie the Riveter,” an iconic symbol of feminism and women’s economic power.
Proceeds from all sales at the fashion show benefit the LVMPD Foundation, which supports a variety of community initiatives, including back-to-school drives, updated equipment and technology for the department’s community safety and crime prevention efforts, advanced officer training and more.
The Women’s Metro Recruiting Council’s mission is to recruit and retain exceptional women and support them in developing and growing their law enforcement careers.
