BLACKSBURG – Winners of six straight and nine of their last 10 games, the No. 11 Virginia Tech baseball team (9-2, 0-0 ACC) begins its first home stand of the young season this week when Tech hosts UMass. Lowell (2-7, 0-0 USA East) heads to English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park for a two-game series (March 7-8).
Tuesday and Wednesday’s games between the Hawkeyes and the River Hawks will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra at 2pm and 1pm respectively. Fans can listen to both games on the Virginia Tech Sports Network with the voice of Tech baseball’s Evan Hughes.
