Soroptimist International of the Greater Santa Clarita Valley is gearing up for its 11th annual fashion show and boutique, so there’s a lot to look forward to. “Opening Doors to a Brighter Future” will take place on Sunday, November 13 at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Valencia. Hosted by Sandy Naba and Jessica Kreuzberger, the event is an afternoon of fashion fun, with the boutique opening to the public at 10 a.m. and the fashion show starting at noon. Includes a delicious sit-down lunch, no-host bar and live and silent auction.
Our fashion show showcases students from our signature Live the Dream Award Program and Dream Let It Be Program. You will also be entertained by the Hart High School Color Guard and more. This year we bring you the Favorite Male Model Contest; So, keep your eyes open for voting opportunities starting October 15, 2022.
This year’s live and silent auction items are sure to interest all attendees. To date, our live auction items include a tour of Ventura Harbor aboard the “Lovey,” and a private dinner for 8 at Chef Daniel Otto’s Old Town Crossroads. There will be a selection of baskets on display for our silent auction, including African safari packages, a Schlick art experience, four at the Valencia Oaks Club and private wine tastings at the home of Joel and Judy Cox of Mystic Hills Winery in Paso Robles. You don’t want to miss these opportunities!!
This year, we will also be offering the “Sponsor a Brighter Future” program. Helping women and girls is at the heart of Soroptimist International’s greater Santa Clarita Valley mission. With the Live Your Dream Awards, we offer financial aid that can be used for any expenses related to undergraduate college expenses to help recipients stay in school. Through our Dream It Be and Go Girls program, we provide goal-setting resources, support and mentoring. Your purchase of a “Future Bright Supporter” ticket entitles a woman or woman from one of these programs to participate in the fashion show. Each ticket is $75.
