Photo Release: The Maryland Department of Health and the Baltimore City Health Department will offer free covid vaccinations, bipartite boosters and home testing at Fiesta Baltimore.

Baltimore, MD – The Maryland Department of Health (MDH), in partnership with the Baltimore City Health Department and their clinical partner Five Medicine, offered free Covid-19 vaccines, bilateral boosters and home Covid testing kits today at the 4th annual Fiesta Baltimore. Latina Cultural Festival in Patterson Park, Baltimore City.

Free covid vaccines, boosters and home tests were distributed at the event.

Festival-goers received Pfizer’s primary vaccines for ages 3 and up, as well as monovalent boosters for ages 5 to 11 and bivalent boosters for anyone over 12. Visitors can get the Modern and Novavax series of vaccines for children 12 and older. .

The event is an example of statewide efforts to ensure fair and convenient administration by bringing COVID-19 vaccines, incentives and testing supplies directly to Marylanders in need.

Outreach to the Spanish-speaking community is an important part of Maryland’s CovidReady efforts.

In addition to the vaccinations and boosters, MDH distributed home-based COVID-19 testing kits, and bilingual community canvassers shared educational materials in English and Spanish on how to stay COVIDReady, along with vaccines, boosters, Covid testing and treatment.
