Robert “Earl” Johnson, retired US Army colonel and senior vice president at Amentum, has joined Client Solution Architects as vice president of business development.

In his new capacity, he will be responsible for leading CSA’s leadership team development and organizational growth strategies, the company announced Wednesday.

A two-decade industry veteran joins management and technology consulting from Amentum, where he previously served as SVP of the Advanced Technology Office and led business development and solution design efforts focused on emerging markets.

Johnson has held various leadership positions at Excel, ITT and Collins Aerospace. He retired from the Army in 2002 after serving as CEO of the Communications Electronics Command Post.

“His deep knowledge of the federal market will help us expand our footprint to deliver the capabilities that are most important to new and existing customers,” said Ronald “Fog” Hahn, CSA’s chief development officer.
