Robin Gonzalez, Redhorse’s chief technology strategist, has been named vice president of the information technology company’s federal civil practice since June 2017.
Gonzalez helped the company forge partnerships with suppliers and customers in the areas of telecommunications, cloud computing and DevOps, as well as developing a cybersecurity strategy for the company’s information technology and data assets, Redhorse said.
The 32-year veteran of federal service worked as the Environmental Protection Agency’s chief technology officer before joining the private sector.
At EPA, Gonzalez oversaw several IT organizations such as the National Computer Center, the Office of Data Analysis and Access, and the Office of Digital Services.
“I am delighted to have Robin take over as the leader of Redhorse’s federal civil practice. Robin brings years of public service and business leadership experience to the position,” said Redhorse CEO and 2022 Wash100 Award winner John Zangardi.
