Hitting the sand(s) (HC GREG Sands):
“We started well as a team, and I’m really happy with how the guys prepared. We put a good number on the board today. We’re doing the right thing emotionally and making good shots. Hopefully we can do it. Bring out the hot guys tomorrow to catch Vandy, who played a really good second round.”

On Scott’s performance:
“Calum shot 63 in the opening round, which is a great number. He comes from a world amateur, so I’m really happy with how he’s adjusted to the change in time and been able to do something special. He hit it long and it’s wide here, so the length shows, especially on the par fives. He did a great job capitalizing on those, and the same goes for Jack. Overall, I saw a lot of good golf and I’m glad we got out of where we are trying to keep up with Vandy.
