Hockey Nation continues to show tremendous excitement and interest ahead of Virginia Tech football’s return to the gridiron this fall. Tech’s athletic department announced Thursday that the Hokies’ matchup with West Virginia has sold out, including student season tickets and additional premium seating.
Since 2004, Lane Stadium has been rocking when Mountaineers visit Blacksburg. Kickoff is set for Thursday night, Sept. 22, at 7:30 p.m., marking the 28-year anniversary of Tech’s first game in history. Thursday night game, also against WVU.

Tech fans will get their first chance to meet this year’s team on Football Fan Day, August 14.
