According to a survey of men, 44% worry about erectile dysfunction, 39% about lack of libido and 36% about low testosterone.
“I think this is something that men realize can change with age, and many men may not realize that it can happen to men of all ages,” said Dr. Petar Bajic, a urologist at the Cleveland Clinic.
Bajic also said that 58% of men mistakenly think that low testosterone is the most common cause of erectile dysfunction.
He said conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and narrowing/narrowing of the arteries can cause erectile dysfunction.
With the variety of conditions men can face, including cancer, Bajic is urging men to get regular checkups and learn about their family history.
According to the study, 55% of men do not have a regular health examination, and 77% of them do not know their family history of urinary diseases. 64% do not know their family history of cancer.
