Dior
The Creative Guide by Maria Grazia Chiuri, ed maison From 1547 to 1559 he presented a collection inspired by the powerful Catherine de’ Medici. One of the most talked about events in Paris is Balenciaga, without a doubt. The runway was a pile of dirt, meaning the models walked in puddles, bumping into each other. The invitation came in the form of a lost wallet that the guests had to return to their address on October 2 at 11:30AM. They opened the show in a cargo jacket, leather pants, lace-up boots and a Balenciaga logo visor. The collection was full of stunning accessories: sculptural pink and yellow slips, maxi bags and chunky heeled clogs. Naomi Campbell and Alexa Demi sat in the front row, dressed head-to-toe in Balechiga, alongside Kylie Jenner in a bright pink embroidered dress – the same version later seen on the runway.
Valentino
Pierpaolo Piccioli seems to have turned a page from his latest fuchsia collection, and now, he’s laid the groundwork for a new minimalist style in terms of shapes and color palettes. A beige graphic dress with a V logo came with make-up covering the model’s face. Capes, feathers, sequins and the return of the famous monogram followed. We also introduced bright colors like yellow, green and red throughout the show. The colorful dresses were my favorites, especially the tunic-shaped long one in lavender. The standout accessories were sunglasses and mini bags. And towards the final race, Valentino became a real revelation: models did not pass the guests as usual, but walked away from the audience. On the way out, crowds gathered hoping to catch a glimpse of invited celebrities like Zendaya, Naomi Campbell, Florence Pugh, Erykah Badu and Ashley Park.
Givenchy
The Givenchy show took place on the grounds of the Jardin des Plantes. The runway and stage were made out of coffee bush, and celebrities like Kanye West, Olivia Palermo, Georgia May Jagger and Naomie Rapace sat front row to enjoy the show. Models walked to popular tunes like Fleetwood Mac everywhere and noise addict I wish I was him. Bella Hadid stepped out in a matching rust fabric outfit consisting of low-rise wide-leg pants, a crop top, and a matching bag, while Gigi Hadid wore jeans with an oversized jacket and baggy shorts with large pockets. Undoubtedly, it was a relaxed and sporty collection, where denim items were paired with tight-fitting dresses and gloves that stole the spotlight.
Chanel
Virginie Viard took her inspiration from Coco Chanel’s designs for the 1961 effect. Last year in Marienbad Spring summer collection for her. The guests were seated as if they were in a cinema in front of a giant screen showing scenes from the film, while the models walked in front wearing a variety of cocktail dresses, emphasizing the timeless elegance of Chanel. The feather trim of the cream dress used in the film has been seen in many outfits, from party dresses to tweed suits. The trademark female stamp found in each collection can be seen in the lacy white dress with black details at the end. In terms of makeup, it was natural and relaxed, the hair was done in most cases. For accessories, large bracelets are mixed with many chains around the neck, and as always, handbags are everywhere. Sitting up front and enjoying the show were Charlotte Casiraghi, along with celebrity ambassadors for the house, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Campbell, Diane Kruger and Caroline de Maigret.
Louis Vuitton
For Louis Vuitton’s new collection, the Louvre was transformed into a giant flower, which also resembled a cherry red circus tent, by contemporary French artist Philippe Parrenot and production designer James Chinlund. Nicolas Ghesquière played with the size of his designs: low-cut dresses with voluminous volumes, tiny leather dresses with large chained shoulders and huge buttons and zippers that took the clothes apart. Designs were printed in different styles like belts, boots were embellished with glittering colorful stones. Overall, the set had different levels of thought and high humor. Celebrities such as Ana de Armas, Evelyn Jobs, Emma Chamberlain, Phoebe Dinever, Maude Apatow, Jaden Smith, Millie Alcock, Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas and Janet Jackson attended the final Paris Fashion Week show.
