Alexandria, La. (KALB) – The 10th Annual Women’s Business Conference concluded on Friday, October 14th.

The conference is hosted by the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce. It aims to bring women together for two days of educational presentations from impactful speakers, encouragement and celebrations.

This year’s keynote speaker was Louisiana CAT President Sally Rinehart. Other presentations were given by Dr. Markey Pierre, author and motivational speaker, and Dr. Beth Palmer, assistant vice chancellor for holistic education at Louisiana State University in Alexandria.

The conference will create a way for women to meet and network, organizers said.

“It’s an opportunity to recognize women who are successful and willing to mentor others,” said Deborah Randolph, president of the Centella Chamber. “The women who attend the conference, the most successful, are often in a position where they want to connect with others in their careers, to help them succeed in their careers.”

This year’s sponsor was Roy Martin.
