The second day of Paris Fashion Week Spring 2023 faux couture shows brought a few things to our attention: bold looks, clean ensembles and — no surprise — Nepo babies.
As expected, Chanel’s latest show featured a star-studded front row. The most surprising thing was the “new” face in the crowd: Apple Martin.
The 18-year-old son of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin was front and center at the Grand Palais Éphémerè, sitting next to some famous names: actresses Lucy Boynton, Sadie Sink and Vanessa Paradis. (No Jenny Kim this time, unfortunately.) She wore a black and white tweed dress paired with leather boots and a clutch shoulder bag. Martin wore her blonde hair down in small waves and stunning black winged eyeliner.

Derek Blasberg (of course) posted Martine on Instagram, saying, “Karl Lagerfeld met Apple Martine when she was 4 years old and told her that one day she would be a Chanel woman. It happened today! “
It was only a matter of time, really.
