The deadline for Tech 2023 is scheduled for Thursday

Time Out for Tech, the annual tour day that gives high school seniors a preview of learning and living at Arkansas Tech University, will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23.

All high school seniors graduating in May 2023 are invited to participate.

“Our supportive learning environment, scholarship opportunities, diverse majors and comprehensive college experience make Arkansas Tech University ideal for thousands of students,” said Kevin Solomon, associate dean for student engagement and interim vice president for enrollment. Management by ATU. “If you’re a high school senior considering your next step in life, you owe it to yourself to attend Time Out for Tech and experience all that ATU has to offer. We believe you’ll find what you deserve at Arkansas Tech.”

During Time Out for Tech, participants will learn more about accessing ATU, student housing, meal plans, financial aid, and campus life. There will be academic breakout sessions detailing each student’s chosen field of study, campus tours and photo opportunities with Jerry Bulldog, ATU Campus Ambassador.

Parking lot BB (near Tucker Coliseum) will be closed from 8 am – 3 pm the day of the event due to tech timeouts.

Individuals who are accustomed to parking in this area should make alternate plans for Thursday, February 23, and all members of the ATU community should plan for increased traffic on campus due to the increased time for Tech Out.
