La Tianda de Jardin’s “Changing of the Seasons” fashion show and luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Amador Live, 302 S. Main St.
Proceeds from the fashion show benefit education and family programs at Jardin de los Niños, a Las Cruces charity that provides education and support for children and families struggling with homelessness.
“The fashion show features women’s and men’s clothing from La Tianda (the “exclusive boutique”), including jewelry (by Kendra Scott) and accessories to complement each season,” said Jardine CEO Michelle Adams, Ph.D.
Tickets are $30 and are available online at https://give.jardinlc.org/fashionshow2022 or for purchase at La Tienda, 335 La Colonia Ave., southwest corner of Alameda Boulevard and Main Street.
Event sponsorship is $300.
“Our goal is to bring the community together to create a great cause to support our children and families at Jardin de los Niños,” Adams said.
La Tianda’s hours of operation are Monday – Friday 10am – 3pm and Saturday 10am – 2pm.
Donations are welcome.
“La Tienda de Jardin is a unique boutique that sells pre-loved clothing, jewelry, home decor, art and collectibles to the public,” according to the La Jardin website. Most items are sold at a fraction of the original price.
The store is staffed by many longtime Jardine and La Tienda volunteers.
