POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) – Business researcher Scott J. On October 19, Reynolds will present a part of the Distinguished Scholar Research Seminar Series as Dr. Bill Stratton on Business Ethics.
The event is open to faculty, students and the community and will be held at 3 p.m. in Room 506 of the Idaho State University Pocatello Campus Business Administration Building.
Reynolds Professor of Business Ethics, Chair of the Department of Management and Organization, and the Michael G. His research focuses on ethical decision making, which has been published in many management and business ethics journals and has won several awards. Reynolds’s approach focuses on the concept of group moral identity.
“Good moral behavior is the foundation for strong relationships, and every business depends on relationships to achieve their goals,” Reynolds said. “Thus, strong relationships with employees, customers, suppliers and all other critical stakeholders make the business more likely to succeed.”
Reynolds is the first presenter in the new Dr. Bill Stratton Distinguished Scholar Research Seminar, named after former Business Dean Dr. Bill Stratton. This series offers our university and community diverse insights, networking and research collaboration opportunities in the business world.
“Dr. Stratton has been a great mentor to me and for his years of outstanding service as dean and as a great professor of management, he has made our college and community better for decades,” said Dr. Shane Hunt, College of Business Dean.
