MISSOULA – Women in business face unique challenges, but luckily there’s a group in Missoula that can help women through those challenges.

The Women’s Business Network – a support group for women in business since 1985 – includes entrepreneurs, business owners and corporate employees. They meet a few times a month for educational presentations and networking events.

The group recently underwent a makeover to attract new and diverse women to the group. Karen Berg-DeGangy, president of the Women’s Business Network, says it’s important for women to have a group to network with.

“I mean the core value and purpose of this organization is to empower women. So we have this space where we feel like we have a safe community where we can connect with each other. We can talk about motherhood and business, we can talk about what it’s like to be a woman in business, you know, connect with each other. And we can be encouraged, to do more and do better in this society.

Women’s Business Network membership costs $30 per month, and they will be holding their grand re-opening party on June 22, 2023.
