Championship notes
The Tech men are seeking their fifth outdoor title in program history (2005, 2014, 2018 and 2019), while the women are looking to capture their first outdoor title. Each of the men’s titles have come under a head coach. Wes KeithleyThe one in 24Th Leading the Red Raiders season.
The first day begins at dawn Matthew McKee He will compete in the 10k at 7:45 am CT. On the second day, the decathlon starts at 10:00 am with the 100m hurdles and ends with the 1500m at 4:30 pm. Prelims on Saturday include the 1500m, 100m and 110m hurdles, 400m, 100m, 800m, 400m hurdles and 200m. There will be four finals on the field – high/long jump, women’s pole vault and shot put. Tech boasts two national leaders on the men’s side Terence Jones in 100m and Caleb Dean 400m hurdles.

The remaining finals will be held on Sunday afternoon with the first field event (women’s high jump) at 2.30pm. The men’s 4×100 relay will begin its first sprint at 5 p.m.
