On Tuesday, George Mason got off to a strong start, but couldn’t hold on to his early lead. The Huskies won the series 2-0. On Map One, Team Captain CJ Johnson “Chowdz” had 31 kills. Not to be outdone, Hunter Holm “retnuh” dropped 40 to close out the series on map two.
Michigan Tech dominated Northeastern 2-0 on Friday. Tech is only allowed 7 rounds in a row. Catch the carnage on Twitch.
Tech has a 3-1 record heading into Friday’s matchup against 4-0 RIT. The broadcast starts at 7pm on MTUEsports.

The Tech Raiders fell to the Eagles 2-1. Brandon Cox “Oblivionize” had 107 view points and Aidan VanDrie “Oscar Wilde” did 20,096 Kog’Maw damage as the champion.
MTU is now 1-1 in the NECC regular season. The NACE Star League announced last week that the competition will be announced on Tuesday, bringing the league’s squad up to three matches a week.

Overtime 2
To celebrate the launch of Overwatch 2, Tech is having a showdown with Albion College on Tuesday. The NACE StarLeague tournament for the new game starts next week.
Rocket League
On Monday, Tech continued its momentum with another 3-0 shutout of Western Kentucky last week. Isaac Stilwell scored three goals in Round 2, and teammate Tyler Tappin “Tatter” scored two goals in Round 3. Tech is now 3-2 in the NACE Starleague Varsity Premier Division.
The B team fell short, losing to ECPI 3-2. Tech is now 0-2 in the NSL Varsity + Division.
Last Saturday, Tech defeated Indian State River College 3-0 to qualify for the CRL. They then fell to Indian State River 3-0 in the losers bracket, then won the playoff spot.
The Huskies have an off week in Varsity Premier and will face ECPI University in Varsity +.
Super Smash Bros: Ultimate
On Thursday, the Smash defeated Davenport 2-0. Cameron Duffy “Psyke” closed out the series by taking five shares as King DeDeDe match 1 and rookie Arthur Duncan “Geyser” eight shares as Bowser. Tech is now 3-1 in the NACE Starleague Varsity Premier League. Relive the fun on TechTwitch!
This Thursday, Smash is on the road to head to the Big House Tournament in Detroit. Thursday’s game against Siena Heights has been moved to Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Giving value
The Huskies continued their undefeated streak with a 2-1 win over Kansas State on Wednesday. Elliot Vironda “EEL” had 21 kills as Chamber on Map 1 and Elliot Lappenga “Block” had 19 kills on Map 2 as Breach.
On Thursday and Friday, the Tech Valorant team competed in the AVGL X Dreamhack tournament. The Huskies started strong with wins over Cal State LA, Central Washington and Boston U to advance to the next round. However, they were relegated to the lower bracket in an overtime loss to Baltimore, Maryland. There, the Carlton Ravens shut out the Huskies and ended the streak.
This week, Tech plays Ole Miss on Wednesday in the NACE Star League. Both teams are 3-0.
