DENTON – The North Texas women’s soccer team looks to be on a roll when it hosts the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.

Sunday’s match will be broadcast on ESPN+ and will be a white out. Fans are encouraged to wear all white.

Sunday’s contest will be the 11th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Red Raiders lead the narrow series 5-4-1. However, North Texas has never lost at home to Texas Tech and is riding a four-game winning streak against a Big 12 opponent in Denton.

After starting the season with a four-game winning streak, UNT (4-2-1) has turned around recently, winning two of its last three. But a win over Texas Tech (2-2-3) on Sunday could put everything back on track as they begin conference play next week.

Defense has been a sore spot in the average Green’s career over the past three matches. UNT allowed just two goals in its first four games, allowing eight goals in its last three games. UNT’s offense has a confident attitude as this team averages three goals per contest.
