Benty Heritage Estate Distillery is closing its doors in March 2022, but now the restored distillery will get a new lease of life after being acquired by Foley Family Wines.

A Sonoma, California wine company announced earlier this week that it has purchased a 100-year-old facility that was once a creamery and flour mill.

Foley Family Wines is family owned and has been in the wine business since 1996, and this will be their first foray into the spirit.

For Foley Family Winery founder Bill Foley, this isn’t the first Silver State purchase. Foley owns the Vegas Golden Knights, Henderson Silver Knights, Vegas Knight Hawks, Urban National Arena, Lifeguard Arena, Dollar Lending Center and the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.

“I’m very proud of what we’ve done in Nevada and look forward to introducing our spirit to the marketplace,” Foley said in a published press release.

An opening date for the distillery has not been announced at this time, but it will continue to include a tasting room at the distillery established under Bint Heritage.
