London, UK – Verizon Business has named Sanjeev Gosain as group vice president and head of EMEA. Sanjivive succeeds Scott Lawrence, who is Senior Vice President, Global Solutions. In his new role, Sanjeev will have overall responsibility for the company’s global enterprise business in the EMEA region, reporting directly to Massimo Pacelli, head of corporate and public sector revenue for Verizon Business.

“Sanjiv brings an impressive track record of growth and entrepreneurial success. Prior to Cognizant, Sanjeev was Regional CEO of a $2 billion business at Computer Science Corporation (now DXC Technology), leading the UK, Ireland and Benelux region.

We serve 98 percent of Fortune 500 companies and are globally recognized for our people, network and technology,” said Sanjiv Gosain. I am excited to lead and relish the opportunity to continue building relationships with our customers and partners.”
