Well Health Technologies said on Friday it has agreed to acquire five primary care clinics in Calgary, Alberta, from MCI One Health Technologies for C$2 million ($1.5 million).

The Canadian digital health company has agreed to acquire all the shares of MCI Medical Clinics (Alberta), which owns and operates the five clinics in the city.

The acquisition will bring more than 50 physicians to Well Fall and integrate the clinics into its existing primary care clinic network.

“The acquisition of these well-known Calgary-based primary care clinics is a key step in Well’s national clinic expansion strategy and builds on Well’s previous operations in Alberta, such as Inliv and CloudPractice,” the company said.

The clinics are expected to generate approximately $10 million in annual revenue.
