‘What She Said’ Event with Women in Fashion | Style

W Bellevue and Bellevue have partnered to host Fashion Week What did she say?An event for women in fashion from 6-9 pm October 13th at W Bellevue.

A panel discussion moderated by fashion influencer Sydney Mintel of Gossip & Glamour, featuring women-owned brands, music by DJ Mixxress, signature cocktails, and an immersive photo opportunity at The Bellevue Collection.

What did she say? It is an international event series organized by W Hotels. The events shine a light on some of the most creative and influential people shaping the world today, featuring thought leaders in industries including fashion, technology, music and art.

It’s an irreverent play on women talking and talking about themselves. “It’s a funny twist on a typically derogatory phrase that allows women to take ownership of their words and what they say,” Cindy Breen, W Bellevue’s director of sales and marketing, said in a release. – It’s her thoughts, opinions, voice and words.

Panelists at the Bellevue event included Elisa Yip, founder of luxury knitwear brand SSKEIN; Founder of The Sustainable Fashion Forum, Brittany Sierra; Valerie Madison, founder of Valerie Madison Fine Jewelry; and fashion consultant Lauren Pistoia. The four women share their entrepreneurial journeys, lessons learned and tips for success.

A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Ada Developers Academy, which provides free coding classes to women and gender-broad adults. Event sponsors include The Bellevue Collection, Bellevue Fashion Week, Gossip & Glamour, and Trophy Cupcakes.
