When:

Where:
Whittier Tech Auditorium, 115 Amesbury Road
what
Whittier Tech is working with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) to renovate and/or replace Whittier Tech. The project is in the first stage.
MSBA works with local communities to create affordable, sustainable, appropriate, flexible, cost and energy efficient public schools across Massachusetts.
At the forum, community members will have the opportunity to hear from the team leading the process, learn about the process and provide feedback. The team includes the School Building Committee, Grafield Project Management, JCJ Architecture, and school and local city officials.
“We strongly encourage community members to attend this informational forum. It will be a great way to learn about the project, its steps and how we can move forward,” said Superintendent Lynch.
The Whittier Tech building was constructed in 1973. Over the past 50 years, Whittier has worked diligently to adapt and maintain the building. However, the building is not fully equipped to support the new technologies and workforce needs of the 21st century.
