PARKERSBURG — WVU Medicine has acquired Ohio Valley Health Care in a deal finalized Friday morning with Camden Clark, officials said.

Camden Clark and Ohio Valley Health Care held a formal signing ceremony to complete the purchase of a skilled nursing facility at 222 Nicolette Road.

The hospital announced plans to acquire Ohio Valley Healthcare earlier this year, with the transaction closing on Friday.

Ohio Valley Healthcare is a 66-bed senior living community and skilled nursing facility serving families since 1951. Ohio Valley Healthcare’s current leadership team will continue to oversee the skilled nursing facility while maintaining employee employment and providing a seamless transition. residents and their families.
