Elon Musk’s ex-singer girlfriend Grimes has questioned Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s ability to make his $10 billion dream come true, calling him “wildly underqualified.”

Claire Butcher, the Canadian-born singer, tweeted that Zuckerberg is “dead” if he controls the Metaverse.

“People who care about art and culture are building something else. And it’s bad art,” Zuckerberg said, having recently come under fire for his poorly designed Metaverse avatar.

“The quality of this image alone speaks volumes for the ability to build alternate reality, in fact every indie game looks better,” Grimes said.

“Ethics aside, they have proven beyond doubt that they are morally unfit to run something so powerful and should not have the power they have now,” she posted.

Last week, Zuckerberg posted a screenshot of his digital avatar standing in front of the Eiffel Tower.

However, the social media world didn’t like his cute basic image, and slammed him with memes.

“I know the photo I posted earlier this week was very basic – it was taken too soon to celebrate the launch. The graphics in Horizon are much more capable – even on headsets – and Horizon is improving very quickly,” he said.

Musk and Grimes recently announced that they welcomed a second child, a daughter named Exa Dark Siderle Musk, via surgery in December.

The on-again, off-again couple welcomed their first child, X – A-12 (“X AI Archangel” and nicknamed “X”) in May 2020.

Y is the eighth second child for Grimes and Musk. His first son, Nevada Alexander, with ex-wife Justine Wilson, died at 10 weeks of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) in 2002.
